Texas Latinos prefer Trump over Biden in presidential election, UH poll finds

Likely Latino voters in Texas prefer Donald Trump over President Joe Biden in an expected rematch this November as the presidential candidates vie for their support, a University of Houston survey released Tuesday found.

Trump, who won Texas in 2020 but garnered only 40% of the state’s Latino electorate, has support from 47% of the state’s likely Latino voters compared with Biden’s 41%, according to the UH Hobby School of Public Affairs survey.

Latinos planning to vote in the March 5 Republican primary in Texas overwhelmingly support Trump (86%) over fellow GOP challenger Nikki Haley (13%). In the Democratic primary, the survey found that 55% of Latinos support Biden, while 45% are undecided or planning to vote for another candidate.

Trump’s growing popularity among Texas Latinos could be a significant factor in this year’s election because the voting bloc has grown and become more engaged in recent years, said Hobby School senior executive director Renée Cross.

Yet I predict that we will still hear from the GOPe that only Nimrata Haley can get the Hispanic vote and not that bad man President Trump.

And brothers be flippin. Looks like trump doesn’t need white suburban voters this time around. His support for Disney groomers must be a people of color thing.

The problem that the Left has in Texas is that once Hispanics are taught English, they quickly get to understand the Democrat Party, and here in Texas, they ARE taught English, despite the best efforts of our public schools.

This is the FIRST POLL I’ve seen with any Republican in Texas leading with Hispanic voters, but for the last decade, Republicans have been getting something like 40% of the Hispanic vote...which is why Texas never went Red when the Democrats predicted such.

At this point, the Democrats know that Hispanics are not nearly as easy to corral as other groups, such as blacks, angry single women (is there any other type of single woman), gays, etc. So, when the Democrats talk about ‘turning Texas blue’, it winds up that they were simply trolling us.

From the survey:

77% of blacks intend to vote for Biden

17% of black likely voters have a favorable opinion of Trump (12% very favorable), while almost four-fifths (78%) have an unfavorable opinion of Trump (75% very unfavorable).

One-half or more of Texans have an unfavorable opinion of Biden (59%), Harris (59%), Trump (51%) and Haley (50%), while close to half have an unfavorableopinion of Cruz (49%), Abbott (48%) and DeSantis (47%).

Haley (50%)??

BS, more than 1/2 of the are Dems crossing over to GOP in primary.

Same with the rest of GOP you listed.

There is NOTHING that the #ComDems won’t do to win.

When the vote is that different from the polls - polls that favor Republicans - it’s usually democrat voter fraud.

Not going to say it doesn’t happen.

I posted a story here a few weeks ago, back when Newsweek wasn’t a controlled fake news media, they published a story.

A very old retired Democratic Hispanic judge from Texas admitted they stole the election in a Senator primary race. An old school blue dog Democrat and young Lyndon Johnson ran. They simply went to the county records and added something like 100 dead people names to Johnson’s total who was behind.

The Judge was confessing because he wanted to clear his conscience as he saw death in his future. As you know Johnson went on and literally changed the country to the left.

Last thing is he was amazed it was so easy, the fraudster they had working in the courthouse forgot and added all the names alphabetically in the voter results and still no one caught on.

You could probably search the story and find it here.

I was a dem precinct person for a short period of time decades ago. (and no, I was never 'in' on fraud) but here's how it's done: Names are pulled from the people who didn't show up to vote - and those people are 'voted'. The dead are a byproduct of that form of voter fraud BECAUSE THEY NEVER SHOW UP TO VOTE. The reason democrats favor 'cleaning up the rolls' is because the number of dead 'voting' is a strong indicator of the breath of the fraud going on.

Funny story to share - back then fraudsters had to punch for more than one candidate or it could look funny. We’re talking Florida in the late 70’s - early 80’s back when Florida used punch cards. The way it was done was packs of cards (of the people who didn’t show up to vote) were stacked, then an ice pick was placed on the chad spot and hit with a hammer.

The method was also assisted with the problem of ‘hanging chads’ but that’s a different story.

Anyhow in one very large batch of cards the second people were hitting the wrong chad spot and this idiot team elected a Republican to some local office. People in the know were scared silly it would be noticed that ‘the black community’ had seriously assisted with electing a Republican... But no one noticed and time went on and it’s lost in lore.

While polls once showed Trump and DeSantis tied in Texas, they now suggest the primary is all but over here. Trump leads Nikki Haley by a landslide.

https://www.texastribune.org/2024/02/06/texas-republicans-donald-trump-endorse/

What happened next in Texas is much like what happened elsewhere: Republican officials started 2023 open to a Trump alternative but ultimately came around as DeSantis underwhelmed and Trump appeared increasingly inevitable. Those endorsements — their order and intensity — could prove to be consequential for those Republicans in the country’s biggest red state as the famously transactional president and his allies look to the future.

“They’re a complete joke,” Hunt said of Trump’s Texas endorsers in recent months. “If you’re endorsing President Trump by the time he’s up 60 points, you’re not a serious person.”

While polls once showed Trump and DeSantis tied in Texas, they now suggest the primary is all but over here. A survey released last month by the University of Houston found Trump leading former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley 80% to 19%, with just 1% undecided.
