Atlanta is battling a squatting crisis as 1,200 homes have been overtaken and landlords have to clear the unwanted residents themselves or wait months for police.
The situation has become so dire that some homeowners offer to pay off squatters to get them out of their homes - rather than risk losing months of rent.
One squat in the Georgia city was even being run as illegal secret strip club and had to be cleared out by an entire FBI swat team.

The 1200 owners should form a militia. The militia should start assembling at each home, blocking the driveways, front doors, and all access. No aggressive action needed just simply make living there nearly impossible.
A thousand plus armed men in my yard might well cause me to make a new plan.
Simple. Because the criminals are black in a city controlled by corrupt Black criminals.
Anarcho-tyranny by design and implementation.
They probably had some compromising video, or something.
Problem with this is the government would step in and protect the protected class

Agreed, the cold civil war has already started slowly the last few years, state vs. state, red vs. blue in cities and counties, and a federal government out of control that can’t govern itself let alone the country. Then add in the $40 trillion in debt by the end of the decade causing collapse of this country making the civil war get hot in the streets. This is not doomsayer speak, it is the trajectory we are on as a nation.

Who was it that said, “Instead of getting married again, I’m going to find a woman I don’t like and just give her a house.”
If you have property to rent, that’s good advice, find a wannabe squatter and just give it to him.
(I’ve already heard the exceptions. I bet your public school district is different too.)
I’m going to write something I think will generate a lot of controversy. The most important element of civilization is property rights. People will argue freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, etc. But if you have property rights, which admittedly interacts strongly with the other rights, you can have civilization. The right for anyone to walk freely anywhere at any time without fear of assault and robbery is the single greatest empowerment of civilization we have. (Again, this right interacts with all others, but if you have that right then you have civilization.) If someone can move into your house and declare it theirs then you have no rights and the civilization you live in is in decline and perhaps its death throws.
Seven months ago, a renter lost his job and stopped paying his rent. I generally work with renters for several months, even trying to find them jobs. But every time I saw this guy, I had to wake him up as he was stoned into oblivion. I filed a court case to throw him out. Seven months ago. I took the paperwork to the sheriff’s office. Here’s where things get weird. The sheriff, an elected official, sent a couple of deputies and they had a discussion with the guy who had flatly refused to move. He had been arrested and jailed a couple of times and was so anxious to not have anything to do with the sheriff he was out that day. (When he came to the door and saw it was the deputies, he tried to wave away all the marihuana smoke while not appearing to do so. It was hilarious.) This last Friday I got a summons as the case I’d brought against him had finally been approved for a hearing which will be on the 20th. Had it not been for the sheriff’s office taking action, he’d still be in my house. So, part of the system of civilization is working but part of it is clearly not working.
Somebody called in a Latin Church Service alert to the FBI?
I know who to call in such a situation and it isn’t the police.
Squatting should be illegal EVERYWHERE !
It is theft plain and simple.
