CBS anchor admits he could not find a single person outside of New Hampshire grocery store who feels ‘good about the economy’

“CBS Mornings” co-host Tony Dokoupil reported how he and his team couldn’t find anybody outside a New Hampshire grocery that was “feeling good about the economy.”

While previewing an upcoming CBS News segment set to air on Sunday, Dokoupil mentioned how people complained about higher food prices, despite macro signs that the economy is improving.

The co-host claimed that President Biden continues to try and sell his economic achievements — aka “Bidenomics” — ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

While speaking to local New Hampshire CBS anchors, Dokoupil reported, “People are really bummed out about the economy here in New Hampshire. Even if the overall big picture numbers are going in the right direction, and even if people’s own personal experiences in general are going okay, there’s a lot of gloom.”

Noting why, he said, “Food prices, for example, are generally going up. And we talked to a bunch of people outside of a grocery store in Derry, New Hampshire — we couldn’t find anybody feeling good about the economy.”

The anchor expressed that the negative view is “just human nature,” adding, “Psychologically, you go into a store, if you’re paying more for items that you get every week, that really sticks with you, it really annoys you, it gets you down. People were upset about it.”

He did note that locals are surviving, that they are “making it” despite the higher prices, although they are annoyed.

“Yeah, they’re making it. But are they bothered by the fact that frozen OJ has gone up double digits and that steak on Friday’s up double digits? Absolutely. And that’s really driving people’s perspective on things,” he declared.

Well, the azho that just robbed Trump of 85 million dollars while acting in cahoots with a Trump hating “judge” and and Trump-hating RAT “jury” are pretty happy this morning. All of them should be locked up.

If that dipwad ever had been IN a grocery store shopping for food instead of eating out in restaurants with his leftist friends and co-workers, he’d have known better than to even try to interview people outside of one.

Brandon the reporter is married to Katie Tur, his two kids from a prior marriage split their time between Israel and Manhattan, and he just had his contract renewed by CBS.

What a fake-This putz hasn’t bought groceries in ages. He wouldn’t know how to gas up his own car. Ya look up white privilege on the interweb, you’ll see this guy’s very Ferris Bueller ugly mug:

Yep. And the fact is that we aren’t angry that some things cost more than they used to. EVERYTHING costs more— ALOT more. And even THAT’S not it: it’s that we all feel the screws tightening, creaking as they slowly drive us out of the middle class, and into servile roles. It’s not that things cost more; it’s that we all got a significant cut in pay/devaluation of our time and skills, after working our asses off for years to attain some measure of material comfort and security. THAT pisses me off, and yes, it’s direct result —more like the goal— of the elitist/leftist machine that supposedly won the last presidential election.

The only people for which this country’s economy is ‘good’ are the third world slags that have invaded us. Why? The USG gives them everything they need.

Newspeak. It’s what 1984 craves.

I think people (myself included) included often equate high stock markets with a good economy for people. The 2 are not necessarily congruent.

Take China for example. They have a very large economy and have had great growth in stocks, yet Ive read 100s of millions are still dirt poor.

Unfortunately true. Many young people in particular who are suffering from low pay, less than full time hours, and the inability to even afford a share in a cheap apartment have been deceived by leftist educators into thinking the problem is the whole system and not what liberal Democrats have done.

There is time before the election to reach out to younger voters and explain that the mess they are in came directly from Joe Biden and his RINO friends. Handing out free money just pushes up prices - as they can see in the supermarket or in their rental bills. And Democrats are never going to help the ordinary working American. They are just padding the pockets of their wealthy, urban elite supporters.

Whenever a leftard complains about the economy or inflation, remind them that they voted for it.

Yes they get a lot, like here in NY. The govt provides, but doesn’t create the goods. They buy them from suppliers and wholesalers. That increases demand . What does increased demand do? It can result in increased supply, but more immediately increased demand raises prices hence inflation. So the illegals are raising prices.

What a good little propagandist he is. While trying to “inform” the rubes that things are better, they still just don’t see it and understand how Josef Stolen is making things better! Rude!

The CEO of the company I work for looks like this guy, and seems to act the same way too. Always trying to tell us how great things are.

2021 when I moved to Richmond, VA the price of a 12 pack of Coke was $5.79. I was shocked at the price.

This weekend it’s $9.99.
