The headline says it all. I read where college admissions counselors can’t even count on grades like they used to because of the huge inflation, so they’re picking not even knowing the truth about the applicant.
All it takes to get an “A” in a college course is to pay your bill and not rock the boat.
So what if they can’t read, write or count, We have created some of the proudest morons in history.
Therefore “equity” will bring the same results as communism. It’ll just lower all boats, reduce productivity, and result in everyone being in poverty. We’ll all have equal misery.
Equality of outcome can only result with the capability of the lowest common denominator being the ceiling for all.
No reason for an education with affirmative action woke skin color hiring
Public schools aren’t concerned with education it’s more about state funding for passing them.
I see students bragging GPAs of 4.1 or 4.2, that should not be possible.
The ignorant are far easier to rule.
It is increasingly common in large public school systems that entire schools have not one student able to pass a proficiency test in reading or math. Public schools have become failure factories turning out students who are ill prepared to do anything. DEI, CRT and gender bending ideology have replaced basic education.
They will do great harm to themselves in the long run.
Can’t imagine businesses wishing to hire uneducated idiots - the reason a lot of employers, especially in the IT sector - use their own tests to weed out job candidates.
They can give tons of unearned awards, degrees and money to someone but they cannot impart knowledge wisdom, skill, ability, work ethic, self respect or sense of accomplishment.
All they accomplish is to reduce the value of awards and degrees to nothing but wall hangers.
Example: Giving Barack Obama a Nobel Peace Prize for being a neatly groomed black is exactly how the Nobel has lost stature to become just another WOKE handout.
They turned it into the analog of a participation trophy.
People who push this type of nonsense ‘Equity’ should be required by law to use only their ‘Equity’ recipients for all professional services - doctors, dentists, legal and financial services.
Let them have one or the ‘Equity’ doctors their policies create perform their knee transplants ot open heart surgery.
If a certain demographic does poorly on a test, is the problem the test or that demographic? Tests in sociology or political science might be engineered to be racist. But how would you construct a racist math test?
Grade inflation started long before “Equity.” Its a simple marketing fact. Kids aren’t going to stay in college if they flunk classes or get below a “C” in classes. Above all, colleges want $$$$$ to keep coming in. The students are their customers.
These 'teachers' are killing our kids in front of our eyes.
Teachers can’t teach because they do not know how to speak coherently, write legible and grammatically correct sentences, or perform basic math functions. And they are graduating students who operate at the same or a lower level.
Now Democrats want to lower the standards for entering the teaching profession even further. What could possible go wrong?
