ABC’s corporate jester Jimmy Kimmel has fantasized about former President Donald Trump dying, saying if the Supreme Court rules against Trump’s presidential immunity argument, “it might actually kill him” — to which the network’s live audience applauded enthusiastically. Jimmy Kimmel spent most of his opening monologue on Thursday’s show attacking Trump. When he got to Trump’s legal battles, the comedian indulged in bizarrely morbid fantasies.
“Let me tell you something — if those three judges he appointed to the Supreme Court take this case and rule against him, he is going to blow a whale-sized windmill out of his ass. I mean, it might actually kill him,” he said.

The sum total of my knowledge of these two is that I think they are both on late night tv, both are leftists, both get poor ratings, both I have never watched their show.
Historically, creating martyrs has not worked out well for the side making the martyrs.

Jimmy Kimmel appeals to and represents one facet of the underbelly of liberal-left paranoid angst, and does it well. And that is the extent of his intellectual and moral standards, go for the laugh while being a kinder, gentler Don Rickles.
Kimmel is the blackface guy from The Man Show, Fallon is the guy who started laughing in every SNL skit he was in.
Fallon seems nicer.

The problem with the immunity is that if it’s limited, then the ability to the POTUS to act is limited. That can’t work when he is head of the military, head of government, and has to make profound decisions.
Donald Trump being made ‘responsible’ for decisions he made as POTUS, means that they MUST arrest Obama for Murder of a 16 year old US Citizen, who never got a trial and never was accused of a crime, was targeted and assassinated on orders from Obama. Donald Trump isn’t accused of murdering innocent children, a far more serious crime.
I’m reminiscing now, but one nice thing about Johnny Carson is that you never knew just where he stood politically. And when he did do political jokes, he made gentle fun of people in both parties.
I guess we’ll never see anything like those days again.
