I agree, if the troops are sent to fight. If they are sent to provide rear area support or humanitarian aid, that may not be as clear. However, I think if you send your troops into a war zone in any capacity you are begging for casualties.
In this case, Russia may prefer to bluster about it but when push comes to shove, they may choose to not declare war but rather treat them as if they were Ukrainians. If they get hurt, it is on the UK for sending them into danger.

If true, I would not be surprised to see Zelenskyy leak the proof of the UK/US troops and advisors that are already in UKR in hopes of broadening the war.
Broadening the war is Zelenskyy’s only hope since most in the west are done with this war now.

I mean, the UK has enough nuclear warheads to destroy Russia, so he isnt wrong. If it was a conventional war, well, the UK certainly couldn’t destroy Russia, but given Russia’s pitiful performance in Ukraine I dont see how Russia could project its conventional power directly at Britain when it couldn’t even achieve air superiority against a country with a handful of rusty soviet migs.
If Russia wants to attack, that will be the end of Russia<

Secondly, it isn’t about saving Zele the clown, but rather preventing Russia from getting too confident to then invade a NATO country
I don’t think Russia will invade any NATO country with Putin in leadership. Ukraine is not a NATO country and has very large common land border with Russia. I can understand why Russia/Putin does not want Ukraine joining NATO.
