The gun controls in Oregon’s Ballot Measure 114 (BM 114) were permanently blocked via a General Judgment entered January 9, 2024, by Harney County Circuit Court Judge Robert Raschio.
Raschio initially blocked the gun controls just days before they were to go into effect.

Kudos to the 2nd Amendment (2A)-respecting judge.
Where are the 14th Amendment (14A)-based federal laws that strengthen constitutionally enumerated rights, 2A protections in this example, from abridgment by the states?
Excerpted from 14A:
"Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States [emphasis added]; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."
"Section 5: The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article."
Regarding unconstitutional, anti-2A gun laws, note that the congressional record shows that Rep. John Bigham, the main author of Section 1 above, had included the 2A when he read the Bill of Rights as main examples of constitutionally enumerated personal protections that 14A applies to the states.

But we're now in a bad, voter self-inflicted situation where corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification federal lawmakers are not only giving a free pass to states that abridge constitutionally enumerated rights, but also not doing their jobs to guarantee each state a republican form of government.
"Article IV, Section 4: The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government [emphasis added], and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

State leaders need to lose their offices under Section 3 of 14A when they violate Section 1 of that amendment imo, open rebellion against 2A in this example.
"14A, Section 3: No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion [emphases added] against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."
The bottom line is this. Democratic and Republican Trump-supporting patriots need to primary ALL state and federal incumbent lawmakers and executives up for reelection this year, except for MTG, Gaetz & Company (and others?).
Your beloved but worthless career lawmakers need to be replaced with Constitution-respecting patriots who will actually do their constitutionally enumerated duty to make federal laws that strengthen constitutionally enumerated rights from abridgment by the state governments and guarantee each state a republican form of government.
Harney County is nothing at all like the Willamette Valley, which unfortunately has most of Oregon’s voters.

The Marxist rats have zero respect for the US Constitution or the Bill of Rights. In fact they hate it because it gets in their way of total dictatorial control.
I truly believe all Marxist rats should have all their rights removed on the grounds they are insane. Bat guano completely insane. They should be banned from ever holding any position in the government and of course they should never be allowed to vote due to their mental incompetency.
A rabid jackal is above these insane rats on the evolutionary scale and far less dangerous.

Pretty obvious that the Left is simply IGNORING the Supreme Court rulings and passing whatever they want. I’m thinking they figure that the Court will eventually go their way, so they want to have cases ready for it.
Republicans could learn a thing or two from the above, also.
