My wife doesn’t like to see women in hijabs. I’ve tried, somewhat successfully, to explain to her that these women might prefer to not wear them but would suffer consequences if they didn’t.

After witnessing the decay of Western culture over the course of my 62 years, I’m starting to think that the Ayatollahs are correct about a lot of things a lot more often than a broken clock is correct about the time.
If I have to choose between a wife in a full burqa or a modern Western woman with a dragon tattoo, blue hair, and a nose ring, I’ll take the former.
A 1950’s housewife would be the perfect happy medium, but at this point, I’m quite open to believing that the Muslim world has a better handle on slippery slopes than Westerners. And when the Messiah finally comes, I doubt that tramp stamps and thong bikinis will be a feature of the 1000 years of peace and harmony.
And this is what muslims want to impose on us.

Your feelings are misplaced. God loves the tatted, blue haired woman just as much as he loves you. And while I wouldn’t get tattooed, that’s no reason to think a woman forced to wear a head covering is any more righteous than the blue haired girl. That you think the Ayatollah is right thinking is very disturbing. The fact that he and his system worships a false god, in other words, a demon, precludes any right thinking about an occasional thing (and I can’t think of a one) that you might think of. God gave us free will. The rules HE put in place are righteous, and, as revealed by Jesus, consist of two things -— love the Lord your God with all your heart and mind and soul, and love your neighbor as yourself.
