Journalists have lost their credibility because they are, by and large, Yellow Journalists. They're frauds that have essentially lost the trust of their audience. At least the audience that aren't willfully ignorant.
To fill that void in their wall of propaganda, the enemies of the United States of America incorporated fact checkers.
Fact checkers are the rebranded Yellow Journalists wrapped in a new lily white divine package.

The fact checkers have carte blanche over which facts/claims to check, and which to ignore. They go over every Trump speech or Tweet with a fine-toothed comb,but ignore the vast majority of the whoppers from Biden and other Democrats. Can you imagine the following fact-checker verdict: “We award five Pinocchios to the claim that Trump is as bad as Hitler”? No, they just let it stand, day after day.
Expose the hell out of these people. Sunlight is the best disinfectant.
I was always skeptical of “fact-checkers.” It was a new term. What? No one ever checked the facts before? So we go from no fact checkers to complete credence in “fact checkers” overnight.
It seemed odd. As odd as knowing that a rushed, not fully tested, therapy, issued under emergency use authorization with no liability on the part of developers was “safe and effective.”
My favorite is when they find a negative fact to be true about a Democrat, they cannot label it "true". They can't find anything that disproves the fact, so they label it "Unclear" or "Needs context".
FACT: "Despite blanket denials stating he never visited, Bill Clinton was seen on Epstein's Pedo Island dozens of times by dozens of people."
RATING: "Needs context. We don't know the President's innocent reasons for each visit."
I have to assume that Eyepatch McCain was the one Republican who got money from the fact checkers.
