DeWhiner is just another spineless RINO.
Here is Governor DeWine’s reasoning for vetoing the bill:
“Were I to sign House Bill 68 … Ohio would be saying that the government knows better what is medically best for the child than the two people who love that child the most, the parents,” said DeWine, apparently unaware that the same government had no problem ‘knowing better’ than countless doctors who wanted to prescribe Ivermectin during the pandemic. “Now, while there are rare times in the law in other circumstances, where the state overrules the medical decisions made by their parents, I can think of no example, where this is done not only against the decision of the parents but also against the medical judgment of the treating physician and against the judgment of the treating team of medical experts. Therefore, I cannot sign this bill as it is currently written.”
I wish they’d pass a bill that required sex-changes for all politicians.
spineless, unprincipled, RINO loser
“Ohio would be saying that the government knows better what is . . . best for the child than the two people who love that child the most, the parents”
So, how about everything else the government places restrictions on minors for? Drinking? Driving? Voting? Sex?
Where is the line?
The Deep State demonstrates once again why conservatives and other normal people continually lose ground against the insanity of the left.
Probably on the Epstein passenger list.
We in Ohio are not surprised by his decision.
DeWine is weak-minded and spineless.
He falls in line with whatever the medical corporatists and pharmaceutical giants tell him to do.
He is governor only because the Ohio GOP are RINOs and controlled by “establishment” people, who fight against any conservative candidates.
This was not an “11th hour” decision by this loser. Anyone who followed the comical freak show that played out in Ohio during the COVID fiasco knew that this misfit had no intention of ever signing that bill into law.
the deeper and more insidious was in for his big fat NO!...he is one of them. prove me wrong.
Another backless cuckold
RINOs gotta RINO.
They voted yes to infanticide, so voting for permanent sterilization of children is the same.
““Were I to sign House Bill 68 … Ohio would be saying that the government knows better what is medically best for the child than the two people who love that child the most, the parents,” DeWine said.”
Complete Nikki Haley recycled horse$hit. So not two lesbians can groom their son into chopping off his penis, or trannies can shower with little girls, and that is supposed to be “conservative, less government” thinking?
Trash. Just like Haley.
You can no longer vote for someone because of what s/he thinks. You are voting for a person that will govern according to how s/he thinks more people would vote for him/her. Candidates don’t STAND for anything anymore, they govern by how many votes they can get.
So, we should repeal laws banning those under 21 from drinking if their parents say its okay?
ONLY the individual when he or she is adult should be making a decision about whether to have a sex change.
“I’m in favor of parents making these very difficult decisions, not the government.”
But if a parent decided to do the surgery at home, I expect the government would violate DeWine’s laissez faire cop out.
DeWine is in favor of donors and liberal shriekers making HIS very difficult decisions is probably closer to the truth.
I would say something disparaging of Ohio voters but that wouldn’t be fair.
Politicians lie as easily as you or I breathing.
Next door in Indiana we got Senator Young who mostly ran on family values and especially fiscal responsibility. I kid you not his first two big votes he cast were the LGBTQ bill and Omnibus $1,700,000,000,000 spending bill.
He voted WITH the Dems on both.
Here is his supposed views on the deficit from his OWN website:
“ ….finding legislative solutions to stabilize and decrease our national debt, which now exceeds $33.6 trillion—more than double what it was just 10 years ago.”
Yet Here he is where the rubber meets the road, on the Biden Omnibus spending bill with 17 other RINOs who joined the DemoRATS:
“Here are the 14 Republican senators who voted for the bill and are remaining in office:
Mitch McConnell of Kentucky
Susan Collins of Maine
Mitt Romney of Utah
Lindsey Graham of South Carolina
Lisa Murkowski of Alaska
John Cornyn of Texas
John Thune of South Dakota
Tom Cotton of Arkansas
Todd Young of Indiana
Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia
John Boozman of Arkansas
Jerry Moran of Kansas
Mike Rounds of South Dakota
Roger Wicker of Mississippi

And here are the four who voted for it and are retiring:
Roy Blunt of Missouri
Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma
Rob Portman of Ohio
Richard Shelby of Alabama”
And all the Republican pundits rubbed their hands together and said “Just wait until the next election. It will be a Red Wave”.
A genuine POS that guy is. Totally and completely void of morals.
