The holidays are here, and while the decorations on Capitol Hill symbolize a season of giving, lawmakers seem more focused on getting what they want on immigration.
Every member on Capitol Hill agrees the public health crisis at the southern border is untenable. Those truly committed to addressing the emergency know that it can’t be fixed overnight.
They have the hard task of enacting laws to prevent migrants fleeing abhorrent conditions from entering America illegally, providing border support for their humane treatment while being processed and managing the needs of those granted temporary protected status now living in the U.S. in the best way possible.

Clearly the lying media once again has not checked the actual facts OR worse yet are trying to hide the facts- illegals are responsible for a very high number of murders, deaths, crimes etc- the benefits do NOT outweigh the risks! I have several statistical facts on illegals in my profile page, and the numbers are mind numbing- even though those numbers were from decades ago- they are much much higher today even!

I don’t recall the exact stat, but America has something like 25 million working-age adults at home not working (and that already excludes parents taking care of children)
We don’t need a single “migrant worker” in this country.
This leftist, lickspittle ghoul doesn’t tell you that those ‘permits’ will lead to residency and that residency will lead to citizenship. AND, that this ‘citizenship’ will be used to sue the US Government for equal protection that will include credit for Social Security, SSDI, SSI, etc.
Those ‘permits’ will completely destroy our Social Security system.
Oh really? That’s just about everything Biden policy accomplishes. His rewards outweigh our risks.

The Democrats do not care in the slightest way about "the public health crisis at the southern border". They only care about the millions of new illegal immigrants who will be Democrat party clients and voters.
Close the borders and shutdown all of the welfare system to illegals. They will be gone as quickly as they came.
Do give the ones who stay, work permits, driver's licenses, and biometric-coded identification that clearly identifies them as non-citizens. Make it clear to them that they will never be allowed to be citizens, nor will their children, nor will they ever be permitted access to any form of public assistance. They will not be permitted employment in any government position, specifically including police or military forces. But they must pay taxes.
And felony convictions for any crime of violence means twenty years in a prison camp, followed by deportation.
The illegals who manage to get past all of that will make generally good residents of this country. Their grand-children might be solid American citizens.
Billionaires and their lobbyists love cheap foreign labor.
Everybody else gets the shaft.

Buffalo’s acceptance of migrant labor led to a period of city growth which it hadn’t experienced in 70 years. Refugees have found meaningful employment which has brought dignity to their lives, and the companies and the cities that have embraced them have flourished as a result.
Funny how the Rat party said the opposite for a century. Displacing American labor was considered the biggest sin of all.
And as for leaving countries with "abhorrent conditions", since when does that bestow the right to invade the United States? Should they all be issued Ferrari's on arrival? Their very own 3 bd/2 ba rancher on a 10000 sqft lot to ameliorate their experiences in...their own lands?
