A majority of Coloradans are fine with this.

Well, wasn’t that the plan all along? Democrats rule and dictate to everyone else what to do, right?

It’s funny that the Dems spent all that effort trying to help Trump get nominated and now they are trying to prevent Trump from being nominated.

The parties run choose how to pick their candidates NOT THE STATE. The state becomes involved for the actual elections.

Case law and Supreme Court precedent is clear, I believe.
The primaries belong to each individual party, and the state is only the administrator. A party is free to do whatever it wants as a primary or caucus procedure, as long as it is willing to be the direct administrator of the process.

Stupid article.
Every single Colorado Republican voter would have a say.
They would just need to show up to their caucus with a valid photo id in hand - and vote.
Simple - and the way it was run until very recently.

Colorado politics has gone crazy. I can’t believe the stuff I hear coming out of that state. We all thought California was bad, Colorado is giving that state a run for its money!

Ignore the ruling and write in Trump or have right-leaning auditors print ballots with Trump as an option.

The ball is now in the court of the Colorado Republican Party. They can disallow the primary and go to a caucus system, as Iowa has. If, say, DeSantis, Haley, and Christie do not remove their names, as Ramaswamy says he will do, the state party must reject the balloting. If they fail to do so, the national convention must not seat any Colorado delegates pledged to DeSantis, Haley, and Christie.

Once again, the Constitution gives the State Legislatures absolute power over the selection of the State’s Electors. Political parties are not mentioned, nor are primary elections.

Soap box
Jury box
Ballot box
We’ll see how 2024 shapes up. I expect the Democrats to reach too far to basically cancel the election without literally cancelling the election. People won’t stand for it. There are more than 3 boxes in the world.

Well, with over 14 million questionable foreigners crossing our Southern border in the last 3 years, why should they not make these fearless pronouncements?
