Former Attorney General Bill Barr said Wednesday on CNN’s “The Lead” that former President Donald Trump saying several times that immigrants are “poisoning the blood” of the country is offensive.
Barr said, “I’m offended by it because it has racist overtones. I actually feel, as you say, we have to control the border and a lot of people coming across the border from anywhere in the world. We don’t know where they’re coming from.

I’m offended that Wm Barr professed to be an honorable Catholic, Knight of Columbus, and a man of morals. This big headed dope is a liar and cheat. Any man who plays bag pipes deserve extra time in purgatory, if said man makes it to purgatory.

In my youth, school arranged for the production of yearbooks. There are social media sites. Even Third World folks have cell phones.
The Mexican government probably would not let them enter Mexico without proper documents. The Mexican government isn’t run by idiots.

It’s not offensive to me, but I will say that I don’t really understand what Trump means when he says it in this context. It is an attention grabbing line, so maybe that’s the point in and of itself.
