Hunter Biden faces 17 years in prison after spending millions on lavish hard-partying lifestyle while dodging taxes: special counsel

Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on nine charges — including three felonies — in part for allegedly evading over $1 million in taxes while living a hard-partying “extravagant” life.

The three felonies leveled against President Biden’s 53-year-old son — who faces a maximum penalty of 17 years in prison if convicted on all counts — include one count tax evasion for his 2018 personal taxes and two counts of filing a false return for his 2018 personal taxes and on a corporate income tax return for his company Owasco, PC.

He has also been hit with six misdemeanor counts of failure to pay and failure to file charges for the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 tax years.

“The Defendant engaged in a four-year scheme to not pay at least $1.4 million in self-assessed federal taxes he owed for tax years 2016 through 2019,” Special Counsel David Weiss writes in the 56-page indictment out of the Central District of California.

“In furtherance of that scheme,” Weiss notes that Hunter “subverted the payroll and tax withholding process of his own company, Owasco, PC by withdrawing millions from Owasco, PC” and “spent millions of dollars on an extravagant lifestyle rather than paying his tax bills.”

“When he did finally file his 2018 returns, [Hunter] included false business deductions in order to evade assessment of taxes to reduce the substantial tax liabilities he faced as of February 2020,” the special counsel adds.

Judge Mark Scarsi, an appointee of former President Donald Trump, has been assigned to the new case.

No, he faces 11 months of hiring lawyers...just to have charges dropped after next year’s election.

I see a full pardon in his future.

Before he serves a minute in jail.

He's lucky his last name isn't Helmsley or Stewart...

Hunter wouldn’t get 17 minutes with this corrupt DOJ involved.

Smartest guy Joe knows. But not smart enough to avoid a tax evasion scheme that, even I who has no background in finance, would recognize as a blatant tax evasion scheme. He relied on the Biden “brand” getting him a free pass. There will be a pardon, but even if justice never comes for Joe, the anguish of Hunter being publicly humiliated undoubtedly strikes him in the heart. And I love that

Biden probably won’t pardon him. What he will do is commute his sentence 1 minute after he is sentenced.

” I see a full pardon in his future.”

Of course. Federal charges (I think). Day 6 will pardon him on Day One.

We need 51 former DOJ goons to sign a letter telling us this is all Ruskie disinfo. Then it’ll all go away.
