One of the many first things that Trump should do as prez is to disallow the TSA from screening people. Let them screen luggage only.

My wife and I took a trip to Florida over Thanksgiving. I got the shake down treatment over a flashlight. They held me up for 20 minutes while they turned it on and off, took out the batteries and swabbed it down looking for something. My wife had 2 pocket knives in her purse. They missed that. Also, once on the plane, I found a butane lighter on the floor.
We pay these people’s salary and pensions and they have not caught a terrorist yet.
They are like the old joke:
“Why do you wear that necklace?
‘Oh, that’s to scare away the tigers.”
“Tigers? their aren’t any tigers around here!”
“You see how well it works?”
Americans have proven over and over again that they live for fantasy fears, so I don’t expect any sudden groundswell of opposition to TSA tactics.
I would go further to say that the miniscule odds of being involved in a terrorist hijacking is worth the risk when compared to the almost guaranteed government harassment.
