You get rejected by more colleges.

You don’t get hired at major corporations.

You get passed over for promotion at major corporations.

You get fired when you are merely accused of something.

You are expected to welcome your replacements.

100%. And as we quickly approach the pinnacle of insanity, HR teams are adopting a new compensating control: Imposter Syndrome

What is Imposter Syndrome, you ask? It’s the suffering endured by affirmative action hires. You see, they didn’t deserve to be hired, their coworkers know they didn’t deserve to be hired, and so they aren’t treated as competent fellow employees.

And who’s at fault when normal employees don’t expect much from the affirmative action hires? You guessed it! The normals!
