Gavin Newsom's Republican father-in-law has branded Ron DeSantis a 'lying slimeball' for claiming he and his wife fled California for a better life in Florida.
Siebel said he an his wife had moved to Florida from Montana as he had left California in the mid 2010s.
Florida governor DeSantis dramatically told viewers: 'So, I was talking to a fella who had made the move from California to Florida, and he was telling me that Florida is much better governed, safer, better budget, lower taxes, all this stuff and he's really happy with the quality of life.
'Saying we moved from California to Florida to fit his narrative was a downright slimy lie, which he knew,' said Siebel.
'I don't tolerate liars, and he lied. I found it despicable that he knew he was lying to make a point.
'I don't trust people when they do stuff like that.'

There are records he registered to vote in montanna in 2011, then florida 2020.
So, for desantis to not be lying, they moved from california to florida, by moving to montana first to get away from the crime, for better government, taxes, etc. desantis said, in 2011?
