My “official” signature hasn’t changed at all over the past few decades. I can look at documents I signed 40 years ago and my signature is pretty much the same. What I’m concerned about is when a absentee voting request signature shows the signing of “Joe Blow” in legible writing and then the actual ballot shows a unreadable squiggle or slash.

I would think most eligible voters use their “bank document” signature when signing their name on absentee ballots. When squiggly lines or slashes look so similar to the same squiggle of other absentee voter’s signature, I become concerned.

Maybe you are not old enough, I can't even get close to a real signature anymore. Crazy that the required my full name as indicated on my birth certificate which I had never used in my life so I actually have to draw my signature. Of course I live in Oregon now so only the shadow knows if voting makes any difference anyway.
