Houlton Sector Border Patrol agents apprehended 20 Romanian migrants who rushed a border crossing from Canada into Main on Tuesday. The migrants illegally crossed the border in four human smuggling vehicles.
Agents patrolling the border near Hodgdon, Maine, received information about four vehicles crossing the international boundary between Canada and the United States on November 21. Agents responded to the area and encountered the four vehicles on Lincoln Road.

According Wikipedia, Romania is 89.33% white and 8.32% Roma (gypsies).
Even so, the Romanians crossing into Maine could very well be gypsies.
Romanian means Roman, more or less. It is made of three different geographic regions: Transylvania, Modolva and Wallachia.

Gypsies have made it to my neck of the woods bringing the same “industry” I saw when I lived in Europe. Begging on street corners with their kids, selling cheap junk from a bike,. And my favorite, pretending to play violin or a squeezebox, to a recording blasting on their “ghetto blaster” stereo.

Why cross from Canada? The welcome wagons are at the US Mexico border. Is there some cheap direct flights from Bucharest to Montreal?
