The problem isn’t if the unit works, the problem is electric heat doesn’t stay warm. You have to experience it to understand. Gas heat just seems to stay warm longer.

From what I remember of gas heat in my old house, you could definitely tell when the unit was running from the blasting hot air.

You could tell when it stopped because the hot air stopped blasting and then it felt cold because you weren’t getting blasted with 130F hot air anymore.

I don’t miss that.
