Heat pumps work good until the temps get into the teens then you better have a backup.
My house was built in the late sixties and has radiant heat built into the ceiling.

I went to a ghetto neighborhood used restaurant supply place, brought home a commercial gas fired rangetop and fast oven for $250. I had to de-louse it and clean it with a power washer. But it won't fail me again, as will most consumer systems and appliances. (And vehicles)

Seeing a picture of Poindexter in the article made me want to vomit. WHY don’t these people just fade away and disappear from our lives? There is no shortage of “hand outs” among the grifters that have populated the government for many years. Anyone with a stupid idea takes it to DC and gets it implemented. The companies named as profiting from this idiotic idea are as happy as pigs in slop.

I use a heat pump for my gunnite pool. The heat pump heats very efficiently for that application.
