Could be people are not buying what he has to sell?
I think Desantis lost fans when he took Trump’s childish gibes lying down. Trump called him “Desanctimonious” and Desantis did what? Ignored him? A lost opportunity imo.
DeSantis = Disloyal
He has zero charisma. He cannot work a room of 100 small town Iowans who love him. He makes his own supporters cringe. Most of whom were #Nevertrump anyway. So, if he struggles to sell to those who will PAY him, he has no hope with those unsure. Seen it first hand several times. Even his smile makes you feel like his ready to go take a dump. Total uncanny valley vibes.
