The cost of providing education, healthcare, law enforcement and other expenditure resulting from millions of extra migrants adds up to as much as $451 billion a year, says the House study.
The 49-page report comes as House Republicans push to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for allegedly failing to constrain the record numbers of migrants arriving at the US-Mexico border.
It includes the cost estimate of $451 billion from the Center for Immigration Studies,
According to FAIR, US federal and state governments spend $182 billion annually to provide services and benefits to non-legal aliens and their dependents.
That figure is only partially offset by the $31 billion in taxes that are collected by the estimated 15.5 million non-legal aliens living in the US, according to the group's president Dan Stein.

And people just go right along with it. Very odd.
I hope they impeach Mayorkas but that won’t stop the flow of invaders. I can’t believe that there is nothing that can be done to stop this. Are there no legal grounds to get a judge to file an injunction or ANYTHING to end this, at least temporarily.
I’ve followed some of the hearings and Q&A. To me (not a politician) his impeachment seemed like low hanging fruit - the kind that hangs so low you bonk your head on it.

It appears that some of the figures used in the report, came from other reports that were likely generated over information gathered from government sources, which tend to be a year behind.
Thus the information being used for the report, could have been from 2021 and possibley 2022.
Thus some cost are basically maybe 8 million or more illegal aliens behind in what has crossed into the country in the intervening years to today.
In this Maryland sanctuary state they’re living large.
New cars new designer clothes nice houses.
Free health care and a crap ton of money for every family member.
Meanwhile I’m struggling on a widow pension driving a 21 year old junk car and begging for Medicaid whilst bundled under 3 blankets just to stay warm because I can’t even get electricity assistance.

that figure is JUST for the direct costs and doesn’t include indirect costs of illegals, ie, a drunk illegal kills a father of a US family- family now has to get lawyers, grief counseling, etc, go through hell trying to pay everything off now that the bread winner is gone- etc etc etc- The Drunk then gets convicted- and is housed in prison filing one appeal after another- tying up courts- etc- at an average cost of around $140 per day just to house and feed them-
There are many more incidental, indirect costs associated with illegals
The TRUE cost of illegals is much much higher per year
Doctor and health professional shortage?
Need to see a doc? Have a health urgency or worse, emergency?
Places taken up, in front of you and your family, in the waiting room and the appointment queue; and, hospital beds, med equipment, and quality time with physicians scooped away from silly healthcare insurance-paying you to give priority to illegal aliens (who feel quite entitled and don't care to even thank or repay us).
This and the interest on the debt amounts to a total of 30 percent of what the government takes in to spend.
I am hoping for a colder than normal winter. Lots of snow and ice all the way down to the Mexican border. Cold and hard driving rain. Bring it on.
