I hear ya. Rand’s comments aren’t insane. Let’s face it. (1) The Dems cheat with their ballot-stuffing and mail-in ballot scams; AND (2) There’s a huge cohort of core Dem voter who due to race, abortion or brainwashing will pull the lever for the Dems regardless of whether Joe Biden even has a pulse let alone a functioning brain. We saw that with their support of Fetterman. They don’t care how out of it the candidate is. They don’t care how badly inflation is wrecking their personal finances. They just plain don’t care.

Its unconstitutional political persecution-there’s no doubting this, Paul is just stating the obvious. I guess the issue is , if they can do it to Trump they can do it to anyone. Trump is by far the most popular candidate. Why does anyone think anyone else has a better chance. It seems like Trump is becoming a martyr, his popularity is growing with each witch hunt. Trumps been vindicated after numerous witch hunts already in the past. What happens if after all this....not guilty verdicts start rolling in? Or guilty verdicts so obviously corrupt they trigger easy appeals? Or prosecutors so out of line they trigger mistrials? Theres alot left to this saga...Ive learned not to count Trump out.

Precisely. If Trump is on the ballot, I will vote for him and hope for his victory. But to many/most(?) at FR the thought of Trump NOT being on the ballot or NOT winning is literally unimaginable. I am not sure what reality those Freepers are inhabiting.
I have no difficulty imagining either of those two outcomes.
