I doubt it.
Mankind will never build a utopia. We just don’t have it within us.
Only God can provide that and even after 1,000 years of it, mankind will still rebel and try to destroy it.
It should be interesting to watch how this all goes, how much it ends up costing, and how it bombs.

It could only stand a chance of being feasible at all in a climate that allows for people to walk all the time.
And that is certainly not the case here in New Engand.

Not entirely. Where was Gavin Newsom born? Where was Kamala Harris born? Plenty of native problems.

There was a scammer in Cal some years ago who got rich selling ideas like these to wealthy investors. The scammer even bought large tracts of land, put in a few model houses, etc, and signage.
Then when enough people got in the scammer bolted with loads of cash and changed company names, and did it afresh in a different locale.

“Where was Gavin Newsom born? Where was Kamala Harris born?”
Who raised them? New England implants. Who did CA vote for before the outside invasion? Nixon, Reagan, Bush Pete Wilson.
And don’t forget:
1. Illegals who’s names are put on voter rolls
2. Ballot stuffing, mail in voting

Come to think about it.
The homeless are people who walk the most.
So they will be the ideal residents!
Having designer tents and outdoor plumbing will be the main magnet for them to enjoy!

In Florida, I have seen a half dozen similar such walkable small cities and planned developments — and at least as many more such efforts in various stages of completion and levels of success. Tight planning, greenspace and public amenities, restrictive zoning, high incomes and property values, and low crime are essential ingredients. I wish this California effort well but do not see it as capable of bringing much of anything new to the formula.

These want to implement Agenda 21, which is Marxist in its objective.

Disney tried it with EPCOT in the early ‘80’s. Looks good on paper but won’t be easy to maintain. Aircraft noise will drive them nuts and SF prices have been creeping in from over the hill for many years. Good luck with that one.
