“The contractor than used the pathways as guidelines to laydown the cement for the sidewalks.”
Figures. So if the contractor was a farmer he would let the cattle show him where they are going to graze before he builds the corral? The corral will be miles into the hills as cattle, like people, don’t go where they are told and might stray into other farmers’ land. Then whose cattle are they? Voters do the same thing BTW.

>Will there be a fence around it?
Let’s see how liberal liberal billionaires are when it comes to something they built.<
When their plans go the usual leftist way.
Will they have Ellis Island type vetting?
Will you have to be very rich?
So many questions.
I live in rural N Nevada high desert-—sand & sage & open land here is about $20,000 an acre-——
MORE if commercial zoned.
THAT area is NOWHERE NEAR THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE-—
YOU NEED TO DRIVE THRU THE WESTERN STATES MORE
OCCASIONAL????
I lived in Nevada county for almost 13 years, at 1100’ ++ elevation.
SNOW was EVERY WINTER-—NOT OCCASIONAL. Had a wood burning stove that heated the whole house.
9 miles==about 3 hours less if VERY fit.
DIAGONAL???
You left out Pat Brown and his retarded son Moonbeam. Who both like right wingers compared to the kids who grew up under their reign.
Or you can build the city in the way that you think is most efficient and have it fail.
I’m sure that the Potawatomi’s didn’t let the Miami’s into THEIR city!
Obviously you’ve not seen cowpaths in GoogleEarth®.
1100? or 11,000...
catty-cornered
“Obviously you’ve not seen cowpaths in GoogleEarth®.”
No, I haven’t. But I’ve seen the area around Travis AFB, in Fairfield many times while flying out of there or coming from the bay area going to two bases I was assigned to, Beale and Mather.
If they are going to create this paradise of bushes and trees for their city, they are going to have an uphill climb.
Solano county ranks as one of the top five counties in California for production of sheep & lambs, grain corn, sudan grass hay and safflower. All of that is animal fodder, not roses. They get their sugar beats and alfalfa for the animals from further south and raise their ranch production. The pics they produced were of malls, and people smiling, and bushes and trees to make it all a big happy place. They need to go to Anaheim for that. It’s ranch land that does not do good to the plow and it is great to raise animals. But not a lot of people fodder. And wait till the bay area prices keep going up and there is a further evacuation of that area right through them clear to Auburn as has already started years ago.

Columbia was nice when I was a kid and it was new. But now it’s overbuilt, just another suburb. The buildings and public areas that were fresh when new now are as tired as the 70’s capsule building in Tokyo.
Will it be a sanctuary city, and how are they going to deal with the sewage treatment facilities?
Property taxes are cheap when the land is zoned agricultural. The minute they turn it to commercial property, or industrial property then the taxes go through the roof.
this thing will be taxes and regulated to death before it is ever finished.
No one with half a brain would build something like this in the commie state of California.
I don’t see much diversity.
