Ukraine is running out of manpower, ammo, weapons and funding.
An almost five-month counteroffensive resulted in Ukraine losing 100,000 more troops and gaining back nothing.
Give it up. We're tired of wasting tax dollars on this failed proxy war, the biggest US policy failure since Vietnam.
It is a war of attrition. The stalemate is because Russia is sitting there grinding down Ukraine in fighters and weaponry. There isn’t much territory changing hands lately.

A couple months ago my wife and I met a group of Ukrainian boys sponsored by local Ukrainian churches. Their families sent them abroad to avoid having them kidnapped from school and off the streets and used as cannon fodder. None of them knew if they would ever see their families again. They are overstaying their Visas. If they are caught, they will immediately be deported and handed over to the corrupt Ukrainian government, probably along with a few of those who have been trying to help them here. This is unlike the other 10 million or so men of actual military age who have illegally entered the country recently and are being shuttled around the country by the federal government and put up in luxury hotels, etc...
The position of many local Ukrainian arrivals has evolved during this conflict. They realize now that they were sold a bill of goods by Zelensky and company who promised to end corruption and keep the peace with Russia. Instead, the corruption has increased, and moves were made that were intended to be provocative to Russia.
Every able-bodied man and boy are being forced to serve in a Nato proxy army led by people who could not care less about their well being or the future of the country. Lindsay Graham recently said in a meeting with Zelensky that the $100s of Billions were killing Russians and that was the best money we had ever spent.

The Ukrainians we live near and know are much, much better informed about this situation than most people in the US. At this point most have soured on Zelensky and soured on the true goals of the military action which has almost nothing to do with helping Ukrainians other than those who are the beneficiaries of graft and corruption. What this is really about is continuing the cash flow to the military industrial complex who need and want the conflict with Russia to go on indefinitely. Nothing is as it seems.
