WATCH: Dashcam Shows Physical Altercation and Shooting Death of Leonard Cure

Law enforcement released a dashcam video that captured the shooting death of 53-year-old Leonard Allan Cure around 7:30 a.m. Monday morning in Camden County, Georgia.

The Daily Mail reported that Cure was allegedly “speeding at more than 100mph in his pick-up truck” when the Camden County deputy pulled him over.

The video shows the deputy telling Cure to get out of the pickup truck and to put his hands on the rear of the vehicle.

Cure can be heard allegedly responding, “I ain’t doing…”

There is no way he is licensed in all of the court systems he shows up in. Pro Hac Vice also has limits on the number of times you can petition for it in a particular jurisdiction. Are there no local attorneys that can handle the case? If so, Pro Hac Vice admission will be denied.

Cure was the man released from jail after his conviction was overturned.

Civil rights attorney Ben Crump commented following Cure’s death, “It is god awful that he would escape that injustice to have his life claimed by more bias.”

What, Driving While Black is now a license to speed at over 100 mph and assault a police officer? Sheesh. Thank God for dashcams. Also the police car probably has a "black box" that records all kinds of things.

It was a mostly peaceful interaction, right up to the time he attached the cop, choked him and said “yeahhhh bitch!” and the cop used the guy’s gut as a silencer.

Tasers are too often used just as a convenience, and not as a less-lethal option to be reserved for serious situations.

But Cure wildly overreacted. He easily could have killed that lone cop. This was a good shoot (and I say that as someone who is very suspicious of the police).

in most states when a LEO orders you out of a vehicle, it’s a MUST-COMPLY order, and refusal is a crime ... whether that’s a good law or not, it’s still a law, and my understanding is that it has been adjudicated as constitutional ...

Why not just do what the officer said? If he was speeding there was no bias. He was doing something to attract attention as I doubt that the officer stops every black person he sees on the road. As usual, we jump to conclusions without having all the facts.
