Aformer Ukrainian presidential adviser has described Kyiv’s stalled counter-offensive as a “disaster” and accused Volodymyr Zelensky of making strategic mistakes.
Oleksiy Arestovych said that Mr Zelensky and his military commanders have failed to break through Russian lines and that Ukraine now needed a new leader.
“They are not telling the truth. There will be no return to the borders of 1991, and there will be no Crimea in the near future,” he said.
Mr Arestovych resigned in January as a presidential adviser after a row over the effectiveness of Ukraine’s air defence systems.
This week, Ukrainian prosecutors opened an investigation into Mr Arestovych for comments that allegedly promote violence against women. He has denied the allegations.

He is a very weird guy. Everything he says is extremely complex. Makes you wonder if he just has complex thoughts or hides insanity behind complexity.
The corrupted little beggar just made a trip to Odessa…..their local government has had enough and is calling for Zelensky’s removal and elections….but no surprise- Odessa is and always will be Russian ( Katherine the Great established the city in the early 1700’s).
What’s left of the Ukrainian people ( 15-21 million) are tired of St. Zelensky, and rightly so.

Oleksii Arestovych was born in Dedoplistsqaro, Georgia. His father was a Belarusian Pole and mother a Russian from Voronezh Oblast, Arestovych spent a significant part of his childhood in Belarus.

Stupid, Ukraine is fighting for its life with 20% land occupied and millions abroad. Its basically impossible to hold elections which would be pointless since Zelensky has 85% approval rating.
no... Arestovich has always spoken his mind a little too much, esp on his Telegram channel. He was Zelenskys right hand man, and then he called him dumb too many a time. The West is in control of Ukraine, theyd never back him.
One has to read her epistles to be influenced by them. I, for one, don’t.
Ironically, Donetsk Oblast just held elections under similar circumstances in September. So its NOT impossible, just inconvenient to the Nazis in Kiev.
