I should at least include the link so everyone can take a look and laugh at the comments.
The war on inflation is over. We won, at very little cost (Paul Krugman, Twitter)
I personally only care how this impacts those who didn’t vote for Democrats. The rest can go F themselves.
What a leader!
Not on X; can’t see the comments.
Krugman is a moron. Always has been.
Personally, I prefer $7.00 gas to mean tweets any day of the week
I think Musc blew it when he renamed “Twitter” to
“X”.
This administration should be named “X”.
4 more years of Bidenflation!!!
(No one saying this, ever.)
My peanut butter just went up .30 cents from the previous week.
It won’t be enough to cover basic necessities like, food energy, gasoline, etc.
Krugman is such a rat whore. Millions of Americans are suffering trying to make ends meet and this prick is trying to protect the people that did it to us. How do such people sleep.
I just paid $5.69 for a bag of Fritos for our chili. Crazy!
But having less disposable income is GOOD for you./s
But but my 9.7% COLA makes me happy...not.
The percentages mix annualized amounts with TIPP amounts that are over 2.5 years. I’m not saying inflation isn’t out of control but the comparisons are misleading.
So the administration thinks that they can just lie about something all Americans are seeing and that that will counter reality?
This is being done by people who KNOW they can steal the election and thus never have to actually face the voters. The scale of this lie is easily on a par with the lies of the Soviet Union.
This guy has the audacity to appear places with banners behind him displaying in giant block letters ‘Bidenomics’ . It is truly an idiocracy.
“I just paid $5.69 for a bag of Fritos for our chili. Crazy!“
My wife loves Doritos. At 6 and change for a bag she now hides them from the kids…
I believe inflation is much higher and that is based upon my household budget for 5.
Insurance costs (homeowners/auto) have risen about 20%
The cost of energy (utilities/gas/propane) have risen more than this figure since 2020.
The cost of groceries/food is the largest increase that I have seen.
The cost of borrowing money has gone way up for credit cards and auto/home loans.
The bottom line is that the things that matter most to the average American family, common household expenses, have increased drastically in 3 years.
When eating out at Chipotles costs more than eating out at Applebees just five years ago, I know that inflation is a problem.
