Western militaries are running out of ammunition to give to Ukraine, NATO and British officials warned Tuesday, as they urged the bloc’s nations to ramp up production to “keep Ukraine in the fight against Russian invaders.”
The news of possible ammunition shortfalls comes after money to buy weapons for Ukraine was not included in a stopgap spending bill the US Congress passed at the weekend to avoid a federal government shutdown.
Fresh uncertainty over the future of US aid arose Tuesday when US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who advocated for support of Ukraine, was ousted from his leadership position by Republican colleagues.
The developments are troubling news for Ukraine as the war with neighboring Russia is in its 20th month and raises questions over whether Moscow may feel able to outlast western commitment promises.
“The bottom of the barrel is now visible,” Adm. Rob Bauer of the Netherlands, the chair of the NATO Military Committee and NATO’s most senior military official, said of the West’s ammunition stockpile Tuesday during a discussion at the Warsaw Security Forum.

Is there any money for them if they “cut a deal”? They are receiving RIVERS OF MONEY now… they’re addicted to it.
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition. But only if it is environmentally friendly and is manufactured within OSHA and EPA standards, with all safeguards of the law being conformed with at every level of manufacture and transportation.
Paying for the ammunition is the least of concerns here.

Ironically, Ameican citizens are sitting on hundreds of millions of firearms and billions rounds of ammo.
The poseurs in charge of NATO thought they were going to get away with bluffing their way though this “special military operation”.
Maybe that’s a good thing that will keep US from going to war with china when they attack Taiwan prior to the 2024 elections.
The UK has run out of tanks and missiles to donate to Ukraine, The Telegraph reported. An unnamed senior officer told the outlet that other countries would have to help now.
Not mentioned is that Putin/Kim just arranged a deal where North Korea will sent 1 million men to support Russia. They come with an AK-47 and 10,000 rds each. Backup supply is 20,000 rds AK-47 ammo per soldier. It took Kim 48 hours to get 1 million volunteers. The attraction? Putin will feed them. Kim also has a huge stash of 155mm howitzer rounds that he is providing to Putin...meanwhile the US can only produce 80,000 155mm rounds with a perfect supply chain. The supply chain is broken and we're actually manufacturing 40,000 rds a month. Ukraine is burning 7,000 155mm rds per day.
Lots of stupid going on with the Ukraine activity. My personal opinion is the river of money being showered on Ukraine is to cover up the Biden corruption.
Use the existing boundary at the time of the last referendum. Ukraine can forget Crimea. Kruschev messed up on that one...and that's the way it is. And we messed up when we supported...and pushed...the coup in 2014.
So many lives lost, all for the neocons and the oligarchs to launder American tax dollars into their offshore bank accounts.
