Rep. Steny Hoyer told to vacate his Capitol hideaway office

House Republicans have told Rep. Steny Hoyer to vacate his Capitol hideaway office, the former majority leader's office confirmed Wednesday.
The move comes as acting speaker Rep. Patrick McHenry ordered former Speaker Nancy Pelosi to vacate her Capitol hideaway office too, as POLITICO first reported. Former House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn did not have an office in the Capitol this Congress, his office said.

Now of course we have to ask ourselves: WHY DIDN’T KEVIN MCCARTHY EXPEL BOTH PELOSI AND HOYER FROM THESE OFFICES??
And the likely answer is, because he was afraid to kick their hornets’ nest. Or, he wanted their help and so DIDN’T kick their hornets’ nest.
Either way, it’s one more example of McCarthy’s milquetoast leadership.
