Kevin McCarthy has been sensationally ousted as Speaker of the House in a historic vote sparked by a tumultuous civil war in the Republican party. A motion to vacate the speaker's chair was adopted 216 to 210, with eight Republicans joining Democrats to boot the House leader. McCarthy, R-Calif., became the first Speaker in the 234-year history of the United States Congress to be kicked out and have his gavel taken away by fellow lawmakers. McCarthy ally Rep. Patrick McHenry, chair of the Financial Services Committee, has been named as the interim Speaker, but now the GOP will launch a marathon bid to pick a successor while in turmoil. The House is now in recess while Republicans decide on their next move to elect a leader.

McCarthy started out skipping Trump’s ceremonies to attend Joe Biden’s parties.
McCarthy has done whatever Joe Biden has asked.
Effectively, the House has been nullified as they are routinely bypassed by design. It’s a defacto change to the Constitution.
So, Fox News will howl and lifetime Fatcat politicians will squeal - because the House was on autopilot to Lay down upon command.
Expect a procession of Bushies and Never Trumpers on TV voicing faux outrage on their way to dinner with Biden at Cafe Milano.

The reason they had all the Votes the first time to elect McCarthy - is no one trusted him. They knew he would lie to their faces.
Those rules were later used when McCarthy cut yet another deal to give Joe Biden every single penny he requested.
Only thing better would be if they burned the capital building to the ground with all the Rats still inside. Or better still, burn the entire city to the ground. /spit
He repeatedly sided with dems, covered for Hunter Biden, stopped the release of the J6 videos because public opinion was turning against the narrative, and made secret deals with the dems to continue funding a quaint little war that we have no business being entangled in.

I’m puzzled as to why Trump supports McCarthy. I’m glad he was voted out.
I think, while not perfect to all, the “majority” the GOP has is better than opening the door to the Commies.
The best part is how the Dems are fundamentally transforming us into a banana republic and the GOP for all intents and purposes seems fine with it.
