There's NOBODY waiting in the wings. It's just as likely that some of these idiots, joined by Republicans from marginal districts, will end up electing Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker.
In the meantime, impeachment grinds to a halt. Nothing is being done to reduce spending. The border remains wide open with NOTHING being done to close it.
The drama of Matt Gaetz and his merry band of grandstanders will dominate the news cycle. The fake news mafia will gleefully use this as an excuse to run interference for the Democrats.
Pick someone who will go toe to toe with Democrats, grab them by the balls and kick them in the ass.
I doubt the GOP has a Conservative version of Nancy Pelosi. Do we????
