Just as meaningless as the theatrical dressing downs of witnesses who deserve much more abuse. Gowdy, Issa, Jordan, even Kennedy... all amount to sound and fury signifying nothing. Some hope that they may so enrage the witnesses they will slip up or do something stupid.
