Landlords getting the same treatment as local businesses getting looted and having the government let the ‘criminals’ off easy.
Let’s call it, legalized ‘rent looting’. The government is on the side of the ‘looters’.
Deep State hates competition.
City documents show a check was sent in 2021 to the tenants, and that check was cashed — but the tenants never sent the money to Jones.LMAO! What the hell did they think would happen? The city government and the recipients of the payment check are members of the same tribe. LOL.
And who would be so stupid to be landlord in jungle-land anyway?
Enjoy dealing with Big Rental ya deadbeats.
more like the shiv at this point
Was Hunter Biden the tenant?
democrats hate private property so much they rushed headlong to block landlords from evicting tenants for not paying. That action was illegal because it invalidated a valid contract.
The purpose was to eliminate private property by giving it to tenants - but without ever saying the words. The landlord kept the mortgage payments, the utility bills, the insurance, the taxes, but lost the right to the use of his property.
Well, what’s happening in California to these mom-and-pop owners of rentals is they’re increasingly selling out to developers - who come in, renovate the property, turn it into condos and push out the original tenants who now cannot afford to live there.
The eviction moratorium was issued by the Trump administration.
Honestly at this point I might just shut off all the utilities and walk away from the place.
Rental housing thieves, commonly know as deadbeat tenants, should have an Amendment VI right to a speedy trial and eviction.
Landlord across the street threw in the towel after the last 2 tenants didn’t pay. He’s selling the property to the next sucker.
The first tenant used the rent money to put a down payment on a Mustang and he blew up the engine when they threatened repossession for non-payment. Idiots everywhere.
Dimonte, Shandell: I think I see the problem here.
Whatcha bet ol dimonte broke those things.
They want to do away with the mom and pop landlords. Only those connected to the government will be allowed to be landlords in the future.
On top of what my instincts were telling me, my talk with my friend put the kabosh on the idea.
Considering what happened to small landlords during Covid, considering how anti-landlord the RI "justice" system is, I'm sure I saved myself serious aggravation and possibly a murder rap or two by not throwing down. Lol!
I wouldn't want to make a wrong turn into SE DC. Never mind own property there. Never mind rent someone property there.
Now that the landlord was finally made aware of the appliance issue he should arrange to have it repaired. While he’s at it he can have the locks changed too.
