Biden will offer him a full pardon which will make him untouchable as a witness in the future.
He was one of the few Democrats in the Senate who denounced Obama's nuclear sellout to Iran. Obama even accused him, in so many words, of being a stooge for Israel. Coming from a lifetime anti-Semite, which Obama certainly is, this the worst insult you can possibly make.
At the time, I didn't link this with his legal troubles. Now I'm not so sure.
