Has the air gone out of the “climate crisis” balloon?
It’s starting to look like it. Some other causes du jour are looking limp lately, too.
Oh, hysteria is still out there. In Boston this month, I passed a church where the door bore a lurid poster reading “DUE TO GLOBAL CLIMATE CRISIS, WORSHIP IN SANCTUARY 9-17-23 CANCELED.”
If it were really a global crisis, wouldn’t you want to be praying?

But this seems actually a case of closing church so parishioners could go to New York to “Join us in the March to End Fossil Fuels,” which is even more amusing, since traveling uses a lot more fossil fuels than staying in Boston and praying for an end to fossil fuels, which would be at least as effective.

The important thing is they have moved the Overton Window and get to keep a lot of the stolen ground.
Dems will simply retire that meme and replace it with another manufactured “crisis”.

I saw a compelling argument which explained that the earth’s temperature causes CO2 rise, not the other way around.
from the viewpoint of long-term cycles throughout millions of years of earth’s history, temperature and CO2 have both been much higher in past. Now, both temperature and CO2 are at a low point, and seemingly, beginning to rise - but hardly due to man’s activity.

We pray for increased global temperature. Each incremental increase allows a massive amount of food production increase. Even one day added to the growing season globally would solve all supply related hunger problems.
The decrease in home heating energy is so massive from a one degree rise it would change energy production dramatically.
We want it warm.
Some people need to be called to account for foisting on us the “global warming” (aka “climate change”) “crisis.”

“I like climate”? Sheesh! What can we blame man on ruining next for something he cant in any way shape and form control?
How about “I like gravity, and we all must do our part to pay for our enviro-sins which is causing the destruction of gravity”
I think you miss the point: There is NO climate crisis to solve. It is a hoax, and we play into the statists’ hands by even tactically conceding that there is. I support small scale reactors because they would be a cheaper and an efficient source, but not to solve a nonexistent problem
there was always ZERO chance of anything we do having an effect if China and India were not going to do it also.
And that is assuming there was an issue that could be fixed to begin with!

These climate fascists won’t stop until they control every aspect of your life.
Bill Gates is not backtracking here. He’s regrouping.
