Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) announced Friday that he will strip funding for Ukraine out of a Pentagon spending bill after Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) joined conservatives in blocking the legislation from advancing earlier this week.
McCarthy said he would remove the $300 million for Ukraine currently in the Pentagon appropriations bill and hold a separate vote on the funding.
“It would be out and voted on by itself,” McCarthy said when asked about the Ukraine aid in the Pentagon appropriations bill.

The Pentagon already made it clear they will keep doing what they’re doing regardless of money voted for Ukraine or not.

The ONLY time McCarthy does the right thing is when he’s pushed up against the wall and realizes his usual BS isn’t going to work that time.

Apparently the Federal Reserve just shovels money to the Pentagon for Ukraine—no Congressional appropriation needed...
Won’t do any good unless he strips the slush funds from the Pentagon, State Dept., CIA, etc. It’s way too easy for covert funding. Just ask the Benghazi crowd.
Not really, the Ukraine industrial complex will still get its money. it will pass later with dem support and a minority of R’s.
Of course, it’s at least possible that we’re witnessing a good cop bad cop routine to give McCarthy cover for doing certain things that the establishment wing of the GOP caucus doesn’t support.
300 million? Biden’s been giving billions. What about that?
