Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gave a basically upbeat assessment of Ukraine’s long-awaited “counteroffensive” against invading Russian forces but conceded “nobody knows” if there will be a major breakthrough this year in an interview with CNN on Tuesday.
Zelensky added that he thinks “we will have more success” in the coming year, following a slower-than-expected start for the big counteroffensive. As in several other recent interviews, he disputed criticism that Ukraine’s push has deteriorated into a stalemate, pointing to gains made by his forces in the east of the country.

But what about all the FR posts claiming Ukrainian victories? I thought the Russian fleet was all but wiped out.
This whole Ukraine thing is a huge con job. We are being conned by rich people to support a fiction so that they can leech billions of dollars for themselves. They are relying on people like Denise Davidov and Reverend Mother to keep up the part where Ukraine has a chance to win. It doesn’t matter to the rich whether Ukraine actually wins as long as they don’t lose because losing is the end of the game. As far as winning the likelihood is miniscule at best, but anything is possible.

I oppose giving the Gay Ukraine Dictator more of our Money.
The way I sees it-— The war will not last much longer—mouths perhaps—not years. The Offensive will end with the first rains and snows. Poland—the really gung ho nation in Europe-—really ready to fight Russia—has stopped sending weapons to Mr. Zelenskyy because he insulted them. When you lose Poland you lose Europe. Germany is only One election away from pulling the plug, same with France. Once Macon is dumped, they will be out—they have their hands full in Africa. Italy will follow Frances lead—and change is ready in England. How long can the USA hold up the war with elections coming up? Trump and RFK Jr. as Peace Candidates—will keep this issue alive. No, six months is my estimate—UNLESS something happens to change the dynamic. like “Russia” Nukes Poland (really the CIA/Mi6 with Zelenskyy’s help) or a “Russian MiG shoots down an airliner full of children—(or an Iranian blowns up Trump as revenge) Anything can—and will—happen.
I was actually thinking on behalf of the nation, a full refund is in order.
