Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer was ambushed, shot and killed, in Palmdale while inside his police vehicle Saturday night around 6 p.m.
KTLA reported Clinkunbroomer was on duty in his vehicle “near the intersection of Sierra Avenue and Avenue Q” when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire.

It’s time for all cops to retire and be given a pension. Then, allow Johnny Q. Sixgun and his “posse” take care of law enforcement in their towns. Imagine the friggin’ “judges” we’d be able to get rid of and sent back to their fries guy jobs.
Works every time it’s tried. Sends a great “message” too!
Palmdale and Lancaster were fairly safe communities when I was raised there in the 1960’s, but the gangs moved in and I avoid even visiting. The amount of violence there in recent years makes it look like the worst parts of LA.
I grew up in Palmdale - we moved there in ‘62 when I was 5.
Graduated from Quartz Hill HS in ‘75 and moved to Costa Mesa.
It was a wide spot in the road surrounded by desert.
I had a bumper sticker that said “Where the hell is Quartz Hill”.
My best friend stayed in the area and I’ve heard how bad it’s gotten.
Another relative of Obeyme, no doubt.
Given the zeal with which most LA cops enforce CA’s unconstitutional gun control laws, they’re not exactly on my side. Was this officer an exception?
On the radio they are saying he was ambushed and shot in the back of the head in front of the sheriffs station
Gang initiation?
LOL! Good one.
“Training Day”
Brought to you by the rats and thier determination to destroy us all
Parked outside the Palmdale Sheriff’s station when shot to death?
The criminals in CA are emboldened and they seem to be everywhere.
It would be Jose Quihote AK47 and his posse, all members of the Escobar Cartel that was welcomed here by Jorge Busho, 43rd prez.
We're in for some bad times. The way these mongrels are spreading across the nation, it's going to be a national crisis.
Line of Duty Death ping.
FReepmail me to be added to the Line of Duty Death ping list.
Used to go to the high desert to shoot, was wide open, in late 60’s
I’m sure the deputy was a good deputy, but they’ll look hard into his past. The video almost looks like a planned hit or payback on a specific individual/deputy. It wouldn’t be the first time.
Looking close, the dark colored suspect vehicle came into view behind the patrol vehicle fast, as if that was their target and couldn’t lose him. Suspect vehicle stops behind him and almost without hesitation quickly changes lanes and pulls up to the drivers side rear passenger door area of the patrol vehicle, not quite even with the deputy’s driver door window. Just as fast the deputy is shot, and the suspect vehicle is gone. This happened within a couple short seconds. This seems to indicate the shooter had his weapon loaded at the ready. They were really ready, like on a mission.
It could have been random, but looking at the video, the way it happened, very fast and everything was ready to go. We’ll see.
