Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) campaign is firing back on a report Thursday that DeSantis, as governor-elect, took multiple undisclosed private flights, claiming it “sounds like more Trump-legacy media collusion.”
“It’s apparent the legacy media realizes that Ron DeSantis has the best chance to beat Joe Biden and the Democrats.”
An investigation by The Washington Post, published Thursday, found DeSantis apparently took at least six undisclosed trips on private jets and accepted lodging and dining from wealthy donors in late 2018. The Post reported the trips took place between DeSantis’s November election and inauguration but were not reported as gifts or campaign contributions.

Instead, they are blaiming the reports on Trump...

Ron hates Trump. He just accepted Trumps help to get elected because desantis is all about desantis. If that werent true desantis would NEVER have lied to his voters and instead he would have Kept his promise to FL voters and not run. No way Ron could sell The lie he supports Trump.

If you think Andrew wasn't lying, why would he use the language he did; This story sounds like? He obviously has no proof with the qualifiers he used. That is called a deflection response, to avoid answering the question? What's he hiding?

Stuff like that are reportable, for transparancy purposes so people aren’t being bribed or given ‘favors’ in return for ‘consideration’ at a later time..
Now we have examples of why desantis got the florida legislature to hide information on his trips ‘because of security’....
Otherwise the peons of florida might see how easily desantis was being bought off for, who is bribing desantis, and who desantis owes favors to.

Maybe he sold out. Or maybe he never was who we thought he was. Either way, now he definitely isn't who we thought he was, he's just a GOPe / Uniparty role-player, saying what he's told in hopes that he benefits from whatever nefarious plot they have to destroy Trump can.
It's a shame, I really liked him and I looked forward to supporting him in 2028. Oh well.
Looks like the Post rattled off a list of possible campaign finance "crimes" which was responded to by the DeSantis people, and, of course, with the additional outcry from a Trump campaign advisor, Cheung (who has worked for McCain, Schwarzneggar and Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner). After that, the Post seems to have nothing to say.

If the trips were compliant, there would be a report on the trip, the cost, purpose, etc. and who paid for it.
One or two trips not having records might be sloppy record keeping.
Several shows a pattern of behavior, and that desantis took them for granted.....
And the fact that it happened 5 years or so ago, shows now corrupt desantis was, even then....

Using the arguement tactics the left uses, when they have no factual position...
In this case, going off on a tangent, when the point is there is information that shows desantis took unreported trips provided by rich people without evidence of paying for them.
I don’t understand the logic of DeSantis’s campaign. He has a small minority of gop voters, so he needs to win many more over if he expects to get anywhere but back home by Spring. .The only significant group of gop voters left are trump supporters. Does he think he will win over Trump supporters by insulting Trump? Does he think he will win over democrats? Independents? If so , does he realize that unless he can win some republican primaries those others will never get the chance to even consider voting for him? I can’t see how he has any chance at all. What a waste.
