None of those pretenders on Republican primary debate stage have to be considered leaders at all.
They all already failed. Judas pence, halley stunk at the job Trump gave her, christie and others stabbed Trump inthe back.
Find new young, not so greedy, American NBC people to support and help raise up. Locally, state, fed and we got 3-4 more years during Trump’s next term to find us a good candidate to run.
That’s how it was designed. The people find and support the candidate to send to office, not money folk putting up candidates.

Yeah, no sh*t. DeSantis was one of Trump's biggest supporters throughout 2020 and as such, followed the guidance put forth by the Trump Administration.
Until the science told him that this guidance was wrong and then he backtracked, earning Trump's wrath.

At least DeSantis will recognize and reverse a bad policy, unlike Trump who continues to double-down on his Covid failures.

A couple of reminders:
Fauci was appointed Director of NIAID under Reagan in 1984, a position he held until the end of 2022.
Trump appointed Mike Pence head of the federal COVID taskforce and Pence appointed Fauci. He worked with him to combat the aids epidemic in Indiana while governor and considered him the preeminent expert on infectious diseases (as did nearly all of Washington),
Early on, Trump asked Pence to limit Fauci's speaking to the media. Trump was concerned Fauci was spreading panic and the cure was becoming worse than the disease.
Pence refused, several times, and went on to publicly defend and promote Fauci.
Trump elevated new people as an adjunct taskforce to counter Pence and Fauci.
Ron isnt a leader he is a follower of whatever he hears from his handlers that sounds like it willadvancehis career and he does that.
He lied to FL voters to be reelected when he already knew he would turn around like a slime ball and run for president when he said he would serve his term. Does that sound like a leader or a user, follower of some other plan hehas in mind? He doesnt care about Floridians. They are just a useful step he used to try too boost himself to more power and money grub opportunities. He and his wife are just trying to do like other career politicians do. Make gobs of money from taxpayers and side deals.

You DeSantis supporters, just can't admit that your man is a loser, and the people found that out when he tried to step outside of his lane. In reality, he was lucky to have become a governor. He did a good job, so the Florida citizens rewarded him with a 2nd term decisively, but his opponent had a lot to do with that. They already had Charlie Crist as their governor from 2007 to 2011. Had it not been for Trump he would have lost his first election attempt to Andrew Gillum.
He even had a little momentum in the early stages before he even announced. But he has steadily declined after he officially entered the race. That's just the facts, and you can't handle the facts.
But as I said, that blurb proves nothing. I'm sure there had to be an event & pictures were taken of Trump handing out these awards, so instead of attacking me, why don't you just present the proof. Not some poorly written blurb that may or may not even be true.
If you notice, Trump has ceased his attacks against DeSantis. He said them early on, now it is DeSantis saying them. People remember the most recent while forgetting the earlier attacks. And you say Trump is not clever. Well, we shall see I guess. But Trump is the odds on favorite right now, and DeSantis keeps sinking further & further in the wrong direction. He's now the one who is exhibiting not only desperation, but frustration as wll.
Ron was a long-term open and proud disciple of Anthony Fauci.
The irony is I don't fault him for the decisions and choices he made --- but, I do fault him for lying about them now and using those lies to try and salvage a failing campaign.
Trump handed the country over to Fauci who then destroyed the economy contributing significantly to Trump's defeat in 2024. Now the country is in worse shape then ever. Trump gave Fauci a medal on his way out the door for his troubles.
God sure has a funny way of showing us the light.
