Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has called former President Donald Trump’s remark about not knowing who gave Dr. Anthony Fauci a presidential commendation “pathetic” and nothing more than “drivel.”
President Trump made the assertion on the Megyn Kelly Show and was quickly denounced on social media by supporters of Gov. DeSantis for the apparent lie that he espoused.
“I don’t know who gave him the commendation. I really don’t know who gave him the commendation. Someone probably handed him the commendation,” said President Trump.
He joins Mitt Romney in his hatred of Trump.
Ron ain’t winning voters with this language.
Pathetic? Is that a four-letter word? If so, DeSantis is winning the argument.

I honestly had no idea Ron would go this route.
Totally out of bounds and across the line. Any number of folks in the White House could have signed off on the commendation and would have never touched the President’s desk or his pen.

The little weasel, as if Trump, who has the entire world snapping at his neck, would take the time to micromanage, in the last hours of his presidency, such drivel as an award to Fauci, a man that DeSantis himself praised.
I will never vote for DeSantis. I must be just too listless.

Have to wonder what DeSantis thinks in his private moments. This man had a sterling political future. He no doubt would have been the VP candidate in 2024 and more than likely the Presidential candidate in 2028. Now after foolishly taking the advice of Karl Rove and the Bush family his political career is in shambles. He must be kept up nights wondering just how it went so wrong.

Trump's the one running around saying it was DeSantis who loved Fauci, not him, and calling him "Lockdown Ron" among other slurs. Trump is gaslighting everyone, stupidly oblivious to the multitude of press conferences and public speeches showing Trump's and DeSantis' exact position on Covid and Fauci.
Trump's supporters don't care. They'll eat up every last lie he spews forth.
