Robert Barnes @barnes_law

Goal here is to tie up Hunter such that he can't be subpoenaed to testify in any impeachment effort, and can claim the 5th. It's not a real effort to punish.

It will never go to trial.

He can always claim the fifth.

The indictment will be used to justify withholding records and other evidence.

I believe Joe and the DOJ have conspired to bring Hunter up as many charges as possible, have him plead guilty to all charges and then Joe will pardon him. Next Biden will resign, the DOJ will charge him with taking illegal bribes, and he will then plea guilty plea guilty to all charges and having made a deal with Kamala to become President, she will then prardon him.

The demons work, tirelessly, to thwart justice! That’s why we’ve got to leave it to the wrath of God!

Ultimately the scum bag will be pardoned.

I was thinking more along the lines that he couldn’t be tried twice,,,you know, when Trump gets back into office.

The DOJ/FBI and deep-state does lawfare and court manipulation for a living. They basically own the rulebook

They are many steps ahead of everyone else.

No, the goal is to not lose the statue of limitations. The known collateral is the 5th amendment.

I disagree with Barnes on this. Hunter Biden could have pled the Fifth even if this whole fiasco was still an “ongoing investigation” by the DOJ.

I also agree. We all know Hunter will get pardoned too. This is just what Barnes said it is.

Not so sure if that was the “goal”. He could plead the 5th anyway. For political purposes, having him sit in front of Congress for 3 days citing the 5th amendment would have an effect.

Something is bothering me about this and it is:

Smarty fancy pants, Lawyer Abbe Lowell, said something that stuck in my mind.

When I and others thought the Judge Noriego (sp?) appeared to quash the deceitful, hidden “plea deal”, but according to Abbe Lowell, he thinks it is still viable because it was “signed by both parties.” He actually said that..

Suppose they go through the motions with this GUN deal, arrange it so Hunter comes through it clean and THEN ABBE WILL RAISE THE IDEA THAT HUNTCREEP CANNOT BE CHARGED WITH ANY THING ELSE.

I know it sounds INSANE, but I think Abbe is a little freaky, and he just might try that.

So many people seem to be aware of the pitfalls of dealing with some corrupt lawyers. I hope none of this is going to happen, and I pray.

We will know the investigators are on target when the witnesses start pleading the 5th.
