Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday suggested that neither President Joe Biden nor former President Donald Trump were of an appropriate age to lead the nation.
Appearing on CBS News, the governor fielded a question as to the ages of Biden, 80, and Trump, 77. Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history while Trump previously held that title.
"I think that's absolutely a legitimate concern," the governor said. "The presidency's not a job for someone that's 80 years old, and there's nothing wrong with being 80 obviously. I'm the governor of Florida. I know a lot of people who are elderly. They're great people."

I am 77 like Donald Trump. I am thankful to God for my amount of mental and cognitive function while my 4 years younger sister has been in and out of hospitals a lot. It’s not all age.
Joseph Campbell was still touring cities, delivering lectures and writing new nonfiction books when he suddenly got pneumonia and died at 83. George Burns joked about his three young doctors who started practice, aged and died, to be replaced by another. He died at 100.

I am starting to think this guy isn’t too bright.
I suggest DeSantis is too stupid to be President. You don’t repeatedly attack the leader of the MAGA movement and alienate the vast majority of the Republican base unless you are stupid. DeSantis will NEVER get my vote. I don’t vote for lifer lazy ass government employees who are disconnected from hardworking Americans that have jobs in the private sector. It’s those Americans that pay the bills of lazy ass government employees. DeSantis should STFU, quit the presidential race, finish his term as governor and then get a real eff’n job. Maybe in 20 years he’ll have the experience required to be a good president.

If I were this guy Desantis, I would cut my loses and try to establish myself for 2028 by suspending campaign and endorsing Trump...if they manage to make it possible Trump can not be on ballot I will then be the front runner and reactivate my campaign...but I fear the damage as been done to Desantis already and he will never be GOP nominee ever not matter what...as he as shown himself to be a RINO with his thinking...which fool convinced him to challenge Trump?
At this point he is a stiff. He might want to go back to Florida and do his job. If his heart is set on DC, he’d make a great FEMA director in the next Trump administration. Yes, Trump is that kind of guy. He’d forgive him just like he forgave Little Marco.
