Much of the military will fall short of recruitment goals by as much as 25% this year — caused by a combination of obesity and falling patriotism in Gen Z and by restrictions on recruits having had therapy.
The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard are all expected to fall short of their recruitment goals this year, they told The Post.
“My generation is a real challenge,” 25-year-old Marine 2nd Lt. Matthew Weiss told the Post. “Something has to change.”

Nobody with a brain or a moral compass belongs anywhere near the U.S. armed forces.

I wanted to go when I was in high school, but my physical health renders me disqualified.
I’d still pick up arms and fight. If we wind up in a hot war and my supply of meds runs out, might as well go out in a blaze of glory.

What would those brave young souls say if they saw the top brass of our “modern military?” I served and retired; yet, I am reluctant to recommend military service to current high school graduates.
One thing was left out...wokeness. What patriotic 18 year old would want to join the military where you’re sleeping in the same barracks (or room) with homos and trannies and where you have to get the clot shot, whether you want to or not, and you’ll be given an Article 15 if you don’t use the right pro-nouns?

I’m one of those veterans who strongly discourages military service. The dining facility fiasco at Fort Hood/Cavazos proves my point. This is all on the chain of command, or lack there of. Making sure the troops are fed is part of the job.

I’ve told my younger relatives and all their friends who will listen - stay out of the woke, political army.

Reluctant? I served and retired, but now I actively discourage anyone who asks me about the possibility of recruitment. Spending more than half your active training time attending bull$#!t brainwashing sessions on transgenderism, wokism, and other non-military wastes of time is counter-productive to ensuring survival when in a combat situation.
