He’s just another of many examples for term limits!

“It’s hard to imagine, the Biden’s, Feinstein’s and McConnell’s not having enough money to live comfortably in the few years they have left.”

##################

A-greed (!).

Also, it’s not just about greed. Uniparty Senators are well-compensated puppets of their respective globalist criminal masters. The threats and fear are also there, as in, “Do as we say and nobody gets hurt.”

*Kentucky law doesn’t require the governor to appoint a Republican as a replacement.
Yes, it does. republicans submit 3 names and the gov has to pick one of those.*

*Isn’t the governor of Kentucy required to appoint a member of the same party?
I suppose he could ignore it and slug it out in court.*

Think it through my friends. You can pretty much count on the governor taking it to court. It’s what they do. Then there’s the 3 names submitted by the GOP. One of them should be Cameron. The gov. may just go for it. I would expect him to win reelection regardless. A red state that elects a blue governor statewide is something we should be wary of. We could lose big. A young Cameron would be set up for a SCOTUS appointment for the longest time.

“minimally functional”

at a cost of about $5.5 trillion/year (about $17,000/American)

Chuck Schumer keeps Team Donkey in line and has the majority.

Scary for the left.

I’m sure the bill could be filled by someone who can get judges through the process.

And they might even do other useful things for the conservative cause.

the Republican Party that lifted Mitch McConnell to power is gone for good, and with it, more likely than not, the prospect of any Senate leader who can square so many circles

In other words, a Republican leader who conspires with Democrats to pass their agenda.

It’s already scary. Mostly self serving assclowns. Promises made, promises denied.

Exactly as the song says...

The Attending Physician of the Congress of the United States, Brian P. Monahan, did a handwaving tapdance when he avoided any obvious description of McConnell's condition and, instead, spindoctored:
"Occasional lightheadedness is not uncommon in concussion recovery and can also be expected as a result of dehydration."
Rather than "lightheadedness" what McConnell had appeared from the videos to be more likely a petit mal seizure which can be caused by a concussion.

"He’s the often silent partner with the White House and Senate Democrats in figuring out how to cut deals with or overcome a House Republican conference in the firm grip of MAGA fanatics."

Precisely why he needs to be replaced

When the Democrats are in control, his collusion is rewarded with Billions of Kentucky largess $ for him to buy votes. That’s why he keeps getting elected. I remember one budget year him getting $4-$5 billion in Kentucky targeted money from the Democrats.

No doubt, I’d love a change at the top of R senate leadership. All of his lieutenants (except Joni Ernst ?) would be same ol’ same ol’.

With 49 R Senators of which perhaps only 10 MAGA/America Firsters who could possibly sway the caucus away from McConnellites; Thune, Cornyn, Barasso, Caputo, Romney, Murkowski (and Ernst ?) and toward a senator in the middle may be the best we can hope for, or expect. Maybe Ron Johnson or Mike Lee who might expect support from Rubio, Scott-FL, Cotton, Blackburn , Paul, Tuberville, Britt, Cruz, Scott-SC and some other west or south senators.

As for Mitch, his skills may still be valuable for a while in case a SC vacancy occurs. If he can make it to ‘24 he can pull a Garland maneuver and stop any appointments in a Pres. election year.

McConnell has issues but are reported to be concussion or heart related affecting blood flow to the brain vs. dementia. He’s quite coherent at times.

Leadership change now, but finish his KY term until ‘26. KY Gov. Beshears is hot to flout KY law and insert a D senator and become a D hero who flipped the senate and then run for Prez. with the paucity of D Presidential timber.

Heavy stakes politics.

Please weigh in on your particular senators.

Did you read the article? McConnell being forced from office is the author's nightmare for the following reason:

"He’s the often silent partner with the White House and Senate Democrats in figuring out how to cut deals with or overcome a House Republican conference in the firm grip of MAGA fanatics."

The guy, correctly, is worried that Senate might stop undermining the conservative base of the Republican party if McConnell is gone. He's right. And, that is why every conservative should hope McConnell is forced to retire.

Rand Paul would be good; so would Marsha Blackburn.

Just don’t even hint at Sissygraham or Cornyn.

So they’re saying if the Turtle goes, the RINOs will lose a lot more power and MAGA will be able to exert far more power?

What can I personally do to help push the Turtle out sooner rather than later?

Rand Paul and Ted cruz both probably don’t have the votes in the senate to get the position.
