New records released by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) reveal that Hunter Biden’s firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners, exchanged over 1,000 emails with the office of then-Vice President Joe Biden during the Obama Administration.
As the New York Post reports, the records were released by NARA on Wednesday after a request from the conservative legal advocacy group America First Legal (AFL). At least 861 emails were sent or received by the Office of the Vice President during the period of time between January of 2011 and December of 2013, and over 200 more emails remain hidden due to the Biden White House citing executive privilege.
“Release would disclose confidential advice between the President and his advisors, or between such advisors,” NARA claimed in its statement responding to AFL.
The emails that were released show that Rosemont Seneca was given direct lines of communication to Joe Biden’s office, and were often given crucial information regarding various White House social events in order to seek audiences with government officials. Among the information shared with Hunter’s business partners were White House guest lists, seating arrangements, and guest biographies for numerous official events, such as the 2012 United Kingdom State Dinner, the 2013 Turkey State Luncheon, and the 2014 France State Dinner.
In one such example, lobbyist Doug Davenport frantically begged for a last-minute ticket to the 2013 White House Christmas tour.
“Hey guys……I am in a bad spot. I have a guy from Apple who is dying to take his 4 colleagues on a REGULAR WH Tour…see the tree, etc…..this Friday,” Davenport’s email reads. “I know it is WAY short notice, but I would owe you my life if you could tell me any way possible to get my hands on some public tour tix for this Friday? Or am I just way out of line???”
Hunter’s business partner Eric Schwerin then forwards the email and asks a Rosemont Seneca employee to “check with our friends over there” and get Davenport and his colleagues to “the front of the line.”
This report comes after additional reporting confirmed that Joe Biden used at least three secret email addresses as vice president, using them to communicate with Hunter and his business partners to discuss Hunter’s foreign business dealings. Joe Biden has repeatedly, and sometimes aggressively, denied any involvement with or knowledge of his son’s overseas business deals, a claim which has been debunked with mounting evidence in recent months.

The latest documents reveal a staggering number of emails between Rosemont Seneca and the Office of the Vice President, revealing further evidence that there was no separation between Hunter’s private business dealings and the official business of the Obama-Biden White House. Rosemont Seneca frequently used the Biden name to gain access to and favors from the White House.
The documents also reveal further evidence of Hunter’s influence in the official Office of the Vice President. Hunter had the ability to direct correspondence, plan guest lists for State dinners and receptions, and bring people into the White House at his discretion. The sheer volume of emails exchanged between Hunter and his associates at Rosemont Seneca and the Office of the Vice President is telling in itself. Just since AFL’s last release, NARA has processed another 861 emails sent or received between January 2011 and December 2013 that contained the name of Hunter Biden’s company, “Rosemont Seneca.”
The vast majority of these emails consisted of direct communications between Rosemont Seneca employees, including Hunter Biden, and the Office of the Vice President. Contrary to Joe Biden’s claim that there is an “absolute wall between the personal and private, and the government,” the White House asserted executive privilege to withhold 200 emails in their entirety because “Release would disclose confidential advice between the President and his advisors, or between such advisors.”

These records further confirm that there was never a wall between the Office of the Vice President and Hunter Biden; in fact, there was extensive commingling between them. America First Legal will continue to share findings with the public through documents obtained from litigation against the National Archives.

The House Oversight Committee demanded Wednesday that the National Archives hand over records on first son Hunter Biden’s use of Air Force Two — following a report that he caught rides to at least 13 countries during his father’s vice presidency.
The Republican-led panel asked for relevant passenger manifests from Joe Biden’s eight years as vice president by Sept. 13 — as House leaders say they could launch an impeachment inquiry as early as next month to expedite a probe of the elder Biden’s alleged role in his 53-year-old son’s foreign business ventures.
“Then-Vice President Biden’s misuse of Air Force Two and Marine Two is indicative of yet another way in which the President has abused his various offices of public trust and wasted taxpayer money to benefit his family’s enterprise, which consisted of nothing more than access to Joe Biden himself,” committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and member Byron Donalds (R-Fla.) wrote to Archivist Colleen Shogan.
“Devon Archer, a longtime Biden family associate, has stated it is ‘categorically false’ that Joe Biden played no role in his son’s foreign business dealings. Flights on Air Force Two around the world to seal business deals are evidence of that role.”
The letter demands “unrestricted special access” to “[a]ll Air Force Two and Marine Two manifests from January 20, 2009, to January 20, 2017, that include any Biden family member or associates (Eric Schwerin, Devon Archer, or Jeffrey Cooper)” as well as any “documents and communications” about such travel or “referring to or relating to any security incidents” in that period of time.
Fox News reported last week that Hunter appeared to have traveled aboard Air Force Two to Croatia, Kosovo, Serbia, Canada, Japan, Germany, Italy, Egypt, South Africa, Kenya and South Korea — in addition to better-known trips to China and Mexico that overlapped with the then-second son seeking business.
Communications suggest Hunter may have also joined his dad in Belgium and Spain.
The requests came after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) said Sunday that the launch of an impeachment inquiry was “a natural step forward” that “provides Congress the apex of legal power to get all the information they need.”
The Oversight Committee also is demanding that the Archives hand over communications involving then-Vice President Biden’s use of pseudonyms “Robin Ware” and “Robert L. Peters” — of which nearly 5,400 reportedly exist.
The GOP demands for records are broad. For example, McCarthy said Aug. 8 that he wants Biden to “give us his bank statements” to settle questions about whether he personally profited from Hunter and first brother James Biden’s foreign dealings.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Monday federal agencies should “work with” congressional inquiries and that she was unaware of what Republicans were “complaining about.”
Comer said he’s seeking Air Force Two records because “there must be accountability for this abuse of taxpayer-funded resources.”
“The walls are closing in on the Biden Family due to consistent and diligent efforts by House Republicans who’ve followed the money, conducted meticulous interviews and hearings, and uncovered undeniable corruption,” Donalds said.
Trips aboard Air Force Two featured notably in Hunter’s dealings in China and Mexico.
Hunter co-founded Chinese state-backed investment fund BHR Partners 12 days after joining his dad for an official trip to Beijing in 2013, the Wall Street Journal reported. He introduced Joe Biden to BHR CEO Jonathan Li during the trip to China’s capital.
Devon Archer, a longtime Hunter associate who served with him on the board of Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings, told the Oversight Committee on July 31 that Joe Biden and Li had coffee in Beijing — rather than a brief handshake as previously reported — and that Hunter put Li on speakerphone when he and Archer made a subsequent trip to China. The elder Biden later wrote college recommendation letters for Li’s children.
Hunter, joined by his US associate Jeff Cooper, also traveled with Joe Biden on Air Force Two to Mexico in 2016.
Hunter got peeved......apparently emailing a Mexican associate from the jet to complain about the lack of reciprocal business favors.
Hunter whined, “I have brought every single person you have ever asked me to bring to the F’ing White House and to the Vice President’s house and to the inauguration.”
But Joe’s boy complained he got nothing in return.
