Just another attempt at creating a more tyranical “big brother”/nazi dictator.

I’m waiting for the “Ceiling Fan Czar” to be announced. What next? The “Correct color toilet paper czar”?

They have been doing this in the UK for years now, alcohol is the next western evil to be purged from our racist, homophobic, paternalistic, regressive society.

The Dylan Mulvaney - Bud Light Ad campaign was a complete success ...

We tried Prohibition once, you think it's going to turn out any better the second time?

Heck, even the Governess of Michigan, Gretchen Whitless, declared that liquor stores were an "essential business" and were allowed to remain open when she closed all home improvement stores during COVID lockdowns.

bloated, ideological, activist government controlled by neo-marxists, and paid for by massive debt, and printed, unbacked fiat money, used around the world.

Can people understand why the BRICS want to break-free from, and diminish the power of the US Dollar?

Have they learned nothing from Bud Light? Do they really expect people to go along with this? Last time it took a change to the constitution to make this happen - then another to unmake it. How do they expect to enforce this new effort to take over your lives? Even increasing the tax will require congregational approval - really cannot see that happening - at least not until they re-gain the Senate. I see not benefit to even rattling this chain.

We have an alcohol czar for several reasons:

1. It’s a do-nothing opportunity for gubmint leeches.

2. It’s an opportunity for gubmint control, with which comes the opportunity to sell exceptions, which is profitable.

In short, there is money to be stolen.

Maybe we should pass a Constitutional Amendment to outlaw the manufacture, sale or transportation of intoxicating liquors.

That should work.

Or maybe just include alcohol in the drug prohibition.

I foresee no issues.

The dweeb should stay in his lane. He has all the authority to place a limit on alcohol consumption within his jurisdiction. That jurisdiction is the Federal workforce. I dare him to do it.

No more than two beers a week?

Did the alcohol czar get paid off by the makers of whiskey?

Another industry under attack.
Look for more federal taxes on all alcoholic beverages.
